Been gone

I have a little catching up to do. Not that I went anywhere but the computer crashed and then refused to connect to the internet once I did a recovery on it. Now that I have windows 7 it's working fine.





So here is the first catch up item. This past Friday was my birthday and I'm not saying how old I am now but this is what my dear hubby brought me for my birthday (besides taking me out for dinner)












It is made by Ute Indians but even more so he gave it to me, that's what makes it so precious.





I took some pictures of the lake not far from us. This is another benefit of living here and I can't wait to go canoeing in the spring.



















Georgeous isn't it? It will fill up in the spring and stay that way for most of the summer.

Anyway it is getting late and 5 am comes wayyy to early. Check out the stories blog and the quilting blog tomorrow for updates.
