Today's project

There is a part of our house just inside the front door that used to be the old porch. In front of the windows there is a ledge made of logs. few weeks ago I discovered cold air coming in between the two logs that make up the inner (or outer) part of the ledge. So Andrew's project was to start ripping it up and use spray foam to seal it up. As you might imagine it was quite a mess on the inside and the shop vac had to be used to clean a lot of it up.

What we also discovered was that it didn't have insulation throughout the length of the ledge. so we pulled everything out.
