Cats

Living out where we have a good amount of breathing space allows us to have a few cats.
They love the property (and even get themselves locked in the barn sometimes).

This is our oldest and alpha male Butch.

He is one of the best cats we've ever had. Very gentle natured, doesn't jump all over counters or furniture and rarely does his business outside of the litter box. He is in charge but doesn't have to act like the big boss, he gets his point across very tactfully.

Next is Isis, She is the princess. Always keeps her fur just so and does not like to be picked up. She will let you mess with her and act like she is fussed but then when you stop she wants you to come back and keep doing it. Unlike some of the cats, she will not remove her collar because she takes pride in wearing it.

This is Twilight aka dork. If there was a breed of cat named dork, she would fit the bill perfectly. She loves to be loved and has this long whining meow. She always wants to play with the other cats even sometimes when they do not and will keep at them until they get mad and shoo her off.

Cleo is an american shorthair and a typical all around male. We thought he was a female at first but decided it was too much trouble to get him used to another name so kept the name Cleo. We call him piggy because at the first hint of food anywhere at all he comes running with his nose working overtime and begs.
