Rodeo Time

I love going to rodeos and honestly wish I could have raised my kids this way but alas such was not meant to be. My camera died halfway through the rodeo so I didn't get all the events but I did get most of them.

Junior bull riders wait in the chutes.

Junior bull rider crashing. Some of those junior bull riders were actually quite good.

Two men with doge shirts waiting in the arena.

Parachuters dropped in before the rodeo began.

The four of them walking to exit the stadium.

Riders waiting with flags.

Guys in the chutes waiting for the saddle bronc event.

I got a good picture here, I think this guy made his eight seconds too.

These are the guys that make sure the horses, cattle, bulls, ect go back in the gate so the next riders from the event can come out. I watched them lasso some bulls and bring, no rather drag them in using two horses. They are good at what they do.

I only managed to get one picture from the steer wrestling event but they did better than the team ropers. One guy had a time of four point something and he won.

These two photos are from the team roping event. Only one team made their time out of seven.

These are horses from the Weber county Sheriffs mounted posse. The way they ride reminds me of sheriffs in the old west, they even shot off guns at the end.

Whew! I finally got all those pictures uploaded. I missed getting pictures of the bareback bronc, barrel racing and bull riding but it was all great. One of the best rodeos in the nation.
