What's going on?

Okay time to catch up again. This winter started out rough but it's been very mild so far. Temperatures today were in the near 40's. I really shouldn't say anything though because I might jinx the whole thing and with my luck we will have one heck of a winter storm next week.

Thursday night Ree Drummond AKA The Pioneer woman came to Salt Lake city for a book signing. Unfortunately I got there too late to hear her speak and the line for the book signing was much too long. I did however get some photos.

It was warmer than usual today so I decided to let the chickens, who have been cooped up in the barn all winter outside.

This is the front of the barn. I dug this out some weeks back to make it easier to get down to feed the chickens. I enlarged it a little today.

These flat garden shovels word really well in deep snow.
