Catching up

This is socks, a stray cat that we feed and allow to stay in our house when it gets cold but he really prefers to be outside running free. Last week he got himself into a serious scuffle and we ended up having to take him to the vet. He spent three days in this makeshift collar and seemed to do okay with it. He still looked funny.

Looks like spring might be coming a bit earlier this year. We started shoveling that big pile of snow on the back porch which means once we are done I will once again have light in that back room. The same one I tore the ceiling out of.
